Who we are?
ACTD is a non-profit, non-political and nongovernmental national (Afghan) organization founded by a group of Afghans in April 2006.
It is a product of extensive consultations, assessments and dialogue among well versed professionals of the current development and democratization stream of Afghanistan. ACTD is registered with the ministries of Public Health (MoPH) and Economy (MoE) of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
ACTD has been active in the community and civil society development through employing different context sensitive strategies and approaches. The organization's main priority areas of work include: civil society development, capacity building and trainings, research, health services delivery and advocacy and policy influencing.
ACTD operates in 15 provinces implemented more than 60 project with 25 projects under implementation. It has more than 1,787 staffs and 2210 volunteers both male and female and well developed systems.
